Iwaya-ji Temple (Kyoto City) (岩屋寺 (京都市))

Iwaya-ji Temple is a Buddhist temple belonging to the Soto Sect located in Yamashina Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. Its sango (honorific mountain prefix is) Mt. Shinyu. The principal image is Fudo Myoo. The temple is reputed to be where Kuranosuke OISHI retired and is also known as Taiseki-ji Temple.
